A 19-YEAR-old man charged with two counts of murder over the deaths of a Warwick mother and her daughter, has appeared briefly in court today.
Major Crime Squad detectives last night charged Lesley Jonathan Cameron, in relation to the deaths of Tamara Alexandra Horstman, 26, and her mother Maureen Anne Horstman, 67, who were found dead on Sunday afternoon in their Warwick home in Felgate Place.
He appeared in the Perth Magistrates (Northbridge) Court today, where the charges were formally read to him.
He was not required to plead to the charges and no application for bail was made.
He was remanded in custody to appear by video link in the Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on January 29.
Police have released the names of the mother and daughter found dead in a Warwick
Cameron, from Mirrabooka, was arrested at a house in Mirrabooka yesterday morning.
He was charged late last night with two counts of murder and one count each of aggravated burglary and stealing Ms Horstman's motor vehicle, which was found about 8km from her Warwick home the following day.
